This high school project, conceived under the Design and Build model promoted by GISA, was an outstanding achievement in the field of industrialized school architecture. In this company, we worked closely with Constructora Capdeferro, Bernuz Fernández, ARC BCN Ingenieros, and Prefabricats Pujol to conceive, design, and construct this impressive building in record time of less than a year.
This project covers multiple smaller projects in the schools of the Jesuit Education Foundation in Catalonia: Bellvitge, Clot, Casp, Poble Sec, and Sant Gervasi, with the aim of adapting the educational spaces to the institution’s pedagogical approach and preserving its heritage. Our concept for new classrooms and sports facilities and the recovery of historical buildings constituted a fundamental part of this project.
The strategic plan for Escola Sant Gervasi’s 20,000 m² school campus was an exciting and ambitious challenge we embarked on. Our goal was to develop a plan that would address the short, medium and long-term needs of the campus, taking into account its size and diverse functionality.
