School building architectural heritage
This project covers multiple smaller projects in the schools of the Jesuit Education Foundation in Catalonia: Bellvitge, Clot, Casp, Poble Sec, and Sant Gervasi, with the aim of adapting the educational spaces to the institution’s pedagogical approach and preserving its heritage Our concept for new classrooms and sports facilities and the recovery of historical buildings constituted a fundamental part of this project.
Sustainability was a key aspect of our approach, using recycled and recyclable materials in all our work. In addition, we focused on ensuring the comfort and health of users, creating environments that are conducive to the educational development and well-being of the school community.
Our designs incorporated creative meeting spaces, fostering new relationships and learning models. These spaces have become meeting points where the educational community can interact and develop their potential.
In the design of these interior spaces, we prioritized acoustic comfort, working closely with specialist companies such as Ecophon and Aistec. This made it possible to optimize the learning process of the students, increase their productivity, and facilitate the work of the educational team.
One prominent feature of our projects is optimization in the execution of the works. In collaboration with prestigious construction companies such as Constructora del Cardoner, Calaf Constructora, Zhilma Nova Building, Serom Construction Services, and Grupo Vilà Vila, we have managed to execute works of up to 1,000 m² with very tight deadlines of 8 to 10 weeks. This enabled us to meet demanding deadlines without interrupting academic activity.
We are proud to have worked on these important projects in the Jesuit schools of Catalonia, collaborating with leading companies in the construction sector and providing architectural solutions that improve the educational environment. Our experience and commitment are our guarantee as reliable partners for the execution of quality educational projects.
