Unifamiliar NZEB
This energy-efficient single-family home was designed under Passive House standards, with the objective of achieving self-sufficient operation through photovoltaic solar energy. Special attention was paid to health and sustainability, using healthy, low VOC materials and finishes from natural and recyclable sources. The design includes outdoor spaces and stands out for its natural swimming pool, which recreates the processes of a small lake, providing a harmonious environment with its green roofs.
Biophilic design has also been implemented, incorporating natural elements and materials that promote a connection with nature and contribute to a healthy space.
To carry out this ambitious project, the close collaboration between the clients and the technical team has been key. A construction company was even integrated into the executive design drafting phase, in “open book” mode, allowing conscious decisions to be made at each stage in relation to costs and deadlines. Despite the challenges faced, such as the outbreak of the Ukrainian war during the construction work and certain difficulties with the construction company and the execution of the works, we have been working hard to achieve a satisfactory result.
The home is currently under construction. We hope to soon present this home as a healthy, comfortable space designed with the way of life of its occupants in mind.
