This particular school required urgent attention, as its facilities were obsolete functionally, legally, and in terms of regulations. The educational space needed to be updated to ensure the safety and well-being of students and teaching staff.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, conducting this project in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic presented an additional challenge. Multi-agent integration and process coordination became key priorities. We had to work closely with clients, engineering firms, the city council\u2019s department of works and licenses, the fire department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and other agencies to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.<\/p>\n\n<p>One of the most important difficulties was the limited period in which to execute the work. In order to minimize disruption to the school community, we set out to find creative, low-cost, and quick-to-implement technical solutions. This allowed us to carry out the necessary renovations during a single summer, optimizing the available resources and meeting the established deadlines.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, part of the school complex was listed as protected heritage by the city council, which required delicate, respectful intervention with the pre-existing structures. Our team strived to preserve the essence and historic character of the building while making the necessary improvements to adapt it to today\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n\n<p>Once the work had been successfully completed in terms of cost and time, an administrative process to fully legalize the school began. This bureaucratic process took almost two years, but approval was finally obtained and the center was fully legalized.<\/p>\n\n<p>We would like to thank Cr\u00e8ixen for their trust and patience during the whole process.
